And they’re not from an animated movie either! Let’s just say I’m glad I went to the dance. It was a bit lame at first when a dude said he was understanding why I couldn’t get some of the dance steps! Humph! When I did dance during the regular songs, people knew I was there. Best of all I caught the eye of a guy whom I wanted to dance with, and he actually asked me to dance! I was in love for like four whole minutes! Five minutes if you count our conversation at the snack table. The two songs I can play over and over are: “I Could Have Danced All Night.” ( My Fair Lady. Warner Bros., 1964) The title speaks for itself! Cliche, but I really can’t go to bed ! Can’t I dance at least one more hour? “When He Danced With Me” ( The Slipper and the Rose . 1976) At 1:58 on the YouTube video , she leans back against the tree trying to catch her breath. I felt the same when I got home. She sings that tonight was just “a fantasy,." but of course we know she will ...

Aladdin | Genie Emerging From Lamp Magnet by aladdin This is taken from my review found on Her Storyline .  I saw the Aladdin remake, and I surprisingly liked it very much. Fun song and dance numbers. I enjoyed Will Smith’s zingers. I don’t want to compare too much of the movie to the original, but I was still most charmed by Aladdin being a street rat. It’s easy to see why Jasmine was so attracted to him. My friend and I were awed. I agree with her in saying it’s one of Disney’s better live-action remakes.
